Money and Happiness: How to Think Positively About Money and Be Happy
Are you one of the people who equate happiness with money? Although money and happiness are often linked together, you must also learn how to perceive money in a positive light that will make you a happier person.
Let’s put it this way. When you have lots of money, you will be able to buy all the things your money can buy. But are these things the reason for you to become happy? If you are rich, you are naturally happy because you have what you want in life. But when the time comes that your money can’t give you what you desire like saving your loved one from the brink of death, then having lots of money is no longer a source of happiness for you. This is similar to a person who lacks money but he has all his loved ones by his side.

What this means is that it does not necessarily follow that when you are wanting of money, you are unhappy in the same way that having lots of money cannot assure you that you can stay happy for the rest of your life.
It is therefore your choice to become happy whether or not you have the money. What is important here is that you should use money as a means to express your core values. You should be able to use and appreciate money to enhance your being and improve your life. Avoid being a salve to money; instead use it to become a better and happier person and realise that money and happiness aren’t the same thing.
