Deliberate Creation – Using the Power of Thoughts
The power of thoughts is one of the greatest gifts we all have. However, we don’t all realise just how powerful this really is, and that deliberate creation of happiness and our goals is possible in life.
If you find that your life isn’t exactly how you imagined it, then the chances are that some of your thoughts are letting you down. This is why any change in your life should start with a change in your way of thinking.
Negative thoughts are not helpful for achieving what we want. Yes, we all think negatively sometimes. But now it’s time to take some time to realise that you can choose your thoughts. Start consciously recognising when a negative thought comes into your mind, and replace it with a positive one. Try never to think about the negatives (and yes this will take work!)
It might be hard at first, but start trying to choose thoughts which reinforce the good things about yourself. For example, focus on how clever you are and how much you have the ability to learn. Or think about how beautiful you are and others will start to see your beauty too.
There is much disagreement over how much your thoughts can influence your life, but I strongly believe that positive thoughts give you the energy to do what you really want to do.
Learning to take over your thoughts and control what’s going on in your head is not always easy. However, it is a journey that will definitely be worthwhile as long as you stick at it. You’ll soon find that you have more control and more strength to achieve exactly what you want to.
